Words are not enough to describe Mama Oshin and no word can actually capture the true essence of her being. Mama was a devoted Christian and gave her life to Christ in 1958. On December 14, 1958, she was baptized at First Baptist Church Imini by Reverend Homer A. Brown, the American Baptist Missionary to Oyo Baptist Association. She became a full member of Immanuel Baptist Church Akeetan Titun Oyo in 1961. As a member, she has worked in several leadership roles and as a director, especially the Oyo West Baptist Conference and Women Missionary Union (W.M.U.). On November 21, 1987, she was ordained as one of the second set of deacons.

Mama Oshin loved teaching and spending time with students. Neighborhood children respect her and were more evident when she became the proprietress at Araromi Nursery and Primary Institute (ANPI), Oyo. She devoted much of her time and knowledge to the schools co-founded with her husband as ANPI, giving birth to a prestigious high school, Nesto College Oyo.
