She later attended Bowen Memorial Baptist Secondary Modern School, Ijaye Orile, near Ibadan, where she met her beloved husband, Deacon Nathaniel Adekunle Oshin (passed away on March 29, 2010). He served as one of the transferred teachers that happened to be searching for his own "Esther." and love interest - the rest of the love story is history. 
They both got married at Oyo Local Authority Marriage Registry, G.R.A. Oyo, on January 19, 1960. The marriage is blessed with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

In 1961, she gained admission to the Local Authority Teachers' Training Collect (LATTC) Oyo as she changed her mind from nursing training due to fear for blood and dead bodies. With her teacher training certificates, Mama Oshin (fondly called) taught in various primary schools in Oyo State. She later decided to further her studies, where she went to the University of Ilorin from 1978 to 1982 (graduated with a B.Ed. Honors).
